Appeal outcome: Leicestershire CCC

The Appeal Panel has dismissed Leicestershire County Cricket Club's appeal and upheld the Disciplinary Tribunal's finding that the club had failed to show it had acted reasonably in preparing the pitch, which was properly rated as "Poor" and therefore "Substandard".

The existing sanctions remain in place, including the £5,000 fine, the suspended 8-point deduction imposed by the Tribunal, and the mandatory 19-point deduction under the Championship Playing Conditions.
