Sanctions decision - Surrey CCC

The independent Cricket Discipline Panel (CDP) has issued its sanction decision in relation to Surrey County Cricket Club.

Surrey were charged following a Cricket Regulator investigation into a breach of the Competitive County Cricket Registration Regulations (‘CCCR Regulations’) having played a player in the Second XI Championship Final match between Surrey and Worcestershire County Cricket Club on 16 September 2025, without first having ensured the player had completed his mandatory ECB education Modules (namely the Anti-Corruption, Recreational Drugs/Anti-Doping and Player Behaviour modules).

Surrey admitted the charge in relation to the breach of paragraph 5.1.1 of the CCCR Regulations. This was their second breach this season of the CCCR Regulations having previously been given a warning.

Christopher Coltart KC, acting as Sole Arbitrator for the Cricket Discipline Panel issued Surrey with a reprimand and £500 fine.
